After years of this magnificent project being on hold and redesigned
following the horrific events of 9/11, construction is finally underway for
the Consolidated
Car Rental Facility at McCarran International Airport. As one of the
first of such projects to be designed and constructed in the United States,
this new $50M facility will provide much needed relief for local and airport
roadways as passengers will have a single location to conduct their rental
car transactions. Mendenhall Smith Structural Engineers is the engineer-of-record
with Kirsten E. Nalley,
PE, SE serving as principal design engineer.
