This prototype middle school utilizes masonry bearing and shear walls
to support steel roof structure. Following the architect's design intent,
radiused entrance canopies and roof structures were designed and detailed
to provide visual consistency throughout the facility. A total of 20
middle schools have been constructed or are planned for Clark County.
