This 350,000 square foot facility replaces the existing library on the campus
of the University of Nevada - Las Vegas. The entire structure is steel
frame with a center atrium that soars 115 feet above the first floor. Special
detailing was required at the shading devices, curtainwalls, and large entrance
canopy. The final solution provides a new icon for the campus and is an
architectural landmark for the city.
