The challenge - and beauty - of this structure is revealed in the variety
of forms that are apparent from all sides of the building. Structural steel
roof framing elevations were carefully coordinated to provide roof slopes and
eaves that effectively shade the summer sun. A variety of exposed structural
masonry is juxtaposed with weathered steel and stucco to cause the observer to
reflect upon the role of building materials in design and construction.
